People who lie or bend the morals are the ones who win in real life - true or false?

and people who are honest and candid rarely get far ahead in life - true or not?People who lie or bend the morals are the ones who win in real life - true or false?
False, you can't win when you aren't allowed to play the game. We have no true impact on anything. You disappear, and the universe will carry on.

I suppose if you're talking about material gains, then yes, maybe they get a little more, but the honest and candid people just didn't want it as much. And isn't that more of a gain, a loosening of the attachment to material crap sounds preferable to me.People who lie or bend the morals are the ones who win in real life - true or false?
that depends on your own self-perception. if you decide to accept that its ok to lie and be immoral then you can consider yourself a winner, but if you decide that no matter what you are going to keep your integrity and not lie and not be immoral, and you are going to accept the consequences of your decision, no matter what happens, then you are also a winner. it's a choice that has to be made.

and no i don't think either of your statements is 100 percent true.
most of the time thats true
you may not make as much money, or win as many battles, but adults who are honest do it for themselves, not for other people. If a principle is more important than a goal, then the journey may be the only thing worth remembering, not the victory.
winning is different for different people. If you said you wanted to vote for _____ but someone told you he'd pay you a million dollars to vote for the other man would you take the money and give up your own opinion? Morals are defined by the person. If your moral is to always treasure your freewill then don't stray from it of course someone might also have morals based on money which would make his actions much different from others.

Getting a head in life depends on what you consider ahead. Those who lie may get more money but I may not consider getting a ton of money a way to get ahead in life. I think getting ahead means being happy and if money makes you happy then by all means go ahead, but there are other ways to be happy not saying any of them is right or wrong.
Sometimes bending the morals and lying does help you win in real life. Sometimes it doesn't and it backfires instead.
I really just can't understand this obsession with winning all the time. Why can't we live peacefully without rubbing it in the face. Is life a race? No. Its at best can be called a journey which we cover at our own pace. In the end everything will come to a naught.

Let those immoral liars have their place under the sun and puff up their chest with false pride. Inside they know and others too, who they really are. Their ugliness will be their undoing one day when they overreach themselves.

So don't fret....
Nooo!

1. i would never make friends with a liar

2.who would trust you or take you opinion

3.nobody would respect you.

I hate liars so much!!!!

my prophet said''i am prepared to call a Muslim a Coward but I'm not prepared to call him a lair.''

Why do you ask anyway?
It can really seem that way. Governments are based on bent morals, lies and pretence.

People who are honest and candid threaten others and seem to get hassled for it.

I believe there will be a time when the balances will tip. Some people call it karma, some the law of sowing and reaping, polarity.

It is still worth it to be honest and candid. Love is still the highest vibration of energy there is and it endures longer than anything else.
Unfortunately, you are asking for a black-and-white answer to a question that is not black-and-white. People don't accept that your situation could be true because it does not make sense to them. People generally want ordered lives and meaningless chaos is frightening. The fact is, what you describe is very often true. Nice guys DO finish last most of the time, especially in our society, where competion is king.

But let me answer a question with a question: Who should decide which morals should be adhered to and which should not?
Living in a very mafia based society I can understand what you mean in terms of people getting what they want, by extortion, distortion and every other foul mean.

However (they reap what they sow) I beleive in karma. Not as a reaction to it, because I believed in it before I came to live here.

Spiritual growth can only come with honesty and goodness. You can't bribe God.
The answer is both depend on what is inside.

For the first question, if you're truly happy with your life, so it's true.

For the second, the keyword is still be the HAPPINESS and how far do you want to go in your life.
I hate to agree, though from my own knowledge, I find it very true.

The downfall of civilisation hadn't emerged to public eye until recent dilemmas that gave a reason for notice.

People have always had the idea of cheating their way through life, it's only recently that people are becoming aware of such.
