this black hole is not very active, but it still has some magnetic effects on our sun as well as our earth....

The 12-12-2012 prophecy came from the Mayan Calendar which counts down and that's when it reaches the year 0. It's a gross misinterpretation of what the Mayans were talking about. The Mayans had some astronomical calculations of things and had everything broken down into eras. Even today, our scientists don't really understand exactly what or even how they were calculating it. In that way, they were actually more advanced then we are now. However, the current Era is the Era that the Mayans basically went extinct in. Not much has been found on what the next Era is supposed to be, so people just assume that it's supposed to be the ';end of times';.
Now the Nostradamus people are jumping on the bandwagon saying that he predicted 12-12-12 to be the end of the world also. However, Nostradamus has yet to predict an even prior to it actually happening to date. You have to really stretch and look back at history to buy what he's selling.
THIRD: Our sun will NOT rise in the middle of the MilkyWay Galaxy. Our sun is firmly implanted in the outter wing of the MilkyWay Galaxy and it moves WITH the Galaxy, not AGAINST or WITHIN our Galaxy. You can actually see the center of the Milky Way Galaxy when you look in the sky, it looks like a milky band running across the sky, but you have to be far away from city lights. Think about it, how the heck can we be moving our position in a galaxy that is hundreds of thousands of lightyears across and contains billions if not trillions of stars, but yet the constillations in the sky have not changed for thousands of years. It is of prime importance that when we speak of this, we must be aware that this is a VISUAL alignment as seen from Earth - not a PHYSICAL alignment. No different in any way than when an astrologer would speak of the Sun being in the sign of Pisces.
The Sun is currently physically 50 light years above the galactic plane. It is not in any way going to physically line up with the galactic plane nor the black hole. 2012 is a hoax to profit from the gullible and uneducated who have not learned from the past hoaxes through history.
Research says the Mayans had a calendar that was designed to keep up with current days and cycles. Strangely, the calendar ends in 2012. But one must also consider that the Mayans suddenly disappeared with no explanation. So, if they couldn't foresee their own extinction, how can we rely on their opinions? and 3 years is not enough time for it to travel that far. To get there in three years, the earth would have to drift away from the solar system and travel towards the center of the galaxy faster then the speed of light..does that sound logical to you?

these are all speculations from scientists and archaeologists, the mayan calendar was throughly studied and this is what they came up with.
