True or False. Many ancient Israelites did not believe in life after death.?

False......I would say SOME, not MANY.

The very reason for child sacrifice to Moloch for example was as and act of atonement for the afterlife.True or False. Many ancient Israelites did not believe in life after death.?
Many did not. If you take a look at Job, for example, it was felt that God's judgment came in the course of ones life or that this judgment would fall upon following generations. Divine retribution was something which was meted out in mortal life. There was no idea of life or judgment after death. There was thought to be a place called Sheol which was the place where the dead would reside. At no time was it thought that anyone was living in this place. One responder was correct in saying that the Sadducees did not believe in life after death as this was an ancient and, what they felt was, a pure doctrine passed down.True or False. Many ancient Israelites did not believe in life after death.?
the sadducees and the sanhedren did not believe in the after life, the pharisees did, in the book of 2 maccabees the jewish soldiers took up collections to pray for their fallen comrades,
True. If I remember correctly, the Sadducees rejected that notion.
