Why do people make up totally false lives and personalities on the internet?

I know, I know....they are so used to hiding their real selves in real life, they just can't let themselves relax on the internet.Why do people make up totally false lives and personalities on the internet?
Cause they have no life
They dont realy like who they r in real life, so when they get on the net they try to be someone that they think is cool
I'm thinking it's for the anonymity more than an attempt to deliberately deceive
they so afraid, but they are to be pitied I would think, or they can't afford there meds any longer
Because it's easy, and people (not all) are afraid to show who they really are. Or sometime they just wanna screw someone else over.
be all that you can be, on the internet.
they're tyring to be cooler than they really are
