I all we see, hear, taste, and smell is processed by our brain, Then would life be perfect If you could plug into a computer that gave you the perfect life by stimulating all the senses?
We would not know that anything was false would we? If the brain genuinly senses these things then are they as real as the world we now live in?A false life, a good life?
Somebody's been watching too much of The Matrix.A false life, a good life?
There are plenty of examples of people who have/had all the sensory pleasures in the world at their command - the best food, best sex, can fly anywhere around the world at any time, best everything - most of them look tired and wrinkled and die a miserable death of a heart attack at 60.
Gautama Buddha was a prince who had everything, and he found truth in something that had nothing to do with sensory perceptions.
Sensory fulfillment is empty - it might feel good the first few times, then it gets old. Sensory fulfillment has nothing to do with finding ';it';
%26lt;would life be perfect If you could plug into a computer that gave you the perfect life by stimulating all the senses?%26gt;
What about the electricity if it would be cut off ....?!
I can answer this, but first, do you want the red pill or the blue pill?
Am I missing something? Why would the illusion of sensation be better than actual sensation?
